Completing at least 2 Amazon Ads certifications is a requirement to obtain advanced partner status.

We measure employee certifications through linked users on your Partner Network account. We recommend linking all your users and encourage your employees to complete all the certification programs located in the Amazon Ads Academy. Completing at least 2 Amazon Ads certifications is a requirement to obtain advanced partner status.

Your employees can get certified by taking certification courses in the Amazon Ads Academy. For certifications to show in your Partner Network account, the account they’re using in the Partner Network must be the same account they've acquired the certifications with. Once your employees are linked to your Partner Network account, completed certification courses will help improve your partner directory ranking.

Amazon Ads Academy certifications last 1 year from the award date. For example, if a user received their certification on 1/1/2023, the certification will expire 1/1/2024. Once a certification expires, the user will need to retake and pass the certification assessment to renew their certification.

View Amazon Ads certifications

To view users’ certifications, you must have admin access on your account.

If you have admin access, you can view all certifications by following these steps:

1. Navigate to Partner Network in the navigation menu and select Certifications.
2. Every user’s certification will appear. To narrow your search, you can filter by the certification status and name.

If you aren’t an admin, but want to view your individual certifications you can do so by following these steps:

1. Navigate to Partner Network in the navigation menu and select Certifications.
2. Search for your name within the user list.
3. If you have any certifications, they'll be listed on the page with current status (active or expired).

If you can’t find your certifications on your Partner Network account:

1. Check whether you took an Amazon Ads certification or a course assessment. To learn about each, please visit our Amazon Ads Academy and certification pages.
2. If you’ve confirmed a certification was taken, there can be a 72-hour delay before certifications appear in your Partner Network account. This can happen if: (1) a user was recently added to the Partner Network account or (2) a user recently passed the certification. If more than 72 hours have passed and the partner isn’t seeing the certifications, please contact us.

Download the Amazon Ads Academy certification report:

You must have admin access on your Partner Network account to view all users’ certifications and download this report. To access the report:

1. Navigate to Partner Network in the navigation menu and select Certifications.
2. Select Download certification report.

Users that have been invited and accepted to your Partner Network account, and have passed a certification will appear in the ‘View certifications’ page and downloadable report. Note, the user must use the same email between their Partner Network account and Amazon Ads Academy account for certification details to appear. If you can’t see your certifications, check the following:

1. Check whether you took an Amazon Ads certification or a course assessment. To learn about each, please visit our Amazon Ads Academy and certifications pages. Note, Amazon Ads Academy courses and assessments only appear in your User settings page.
