Attributed purchases report for Sponsored Brands

The attributed purchases report provides insight into the specific products sold and attributed to your campaigns.

Available for: sellers and vendors running Sponsored Brands campaigns.

The products on this report are directly promoted by your campaign, on your landing page, or they’re indirectly attributed via the brand halo through brands from ASINs on your landing page. This report isn’t available for campaigns that include book ASINs.

This report can help you understand:

  • Top selling vs least selling attributed products - identify the top-selling products attributed to your campaigns. You can use this data to optimize the campaigns by focusing on the top products or similar ones.
  • Attribution breakdown - you’ll get visibility into promoted and halo attribution. This data can help you understand the influence that branded ads have beyond the promoted products, and measure how well campaigns drive sales across a brand’s entire catalog.
  • Percentage of New-to-brand purchases at the products grain - you’ll be able to see for a particular product, how much of its sales were purchased by new-to-brand customers. With this data, you can learn which products in your catalog attract new customers, and focus marketing efforts in those, to grow your audience. Note, this isn’t available for book advertisers.
  • Attributed purchases trends over time - you'll be able to generate the report for the last 2 years, in a daily grain or aggregated level. This data can help you analyze attribution trends over time and for particular products.

Note: New-to-brands metrics aren’t available for KDP authors.

Tip: Once you've identified the top-performing products against the Sales or New-to-Brand criteria, you can optimize the campaigns by focusing on the top products or similar ones, in the campaign creative, landing page, and Store. In addition, you could surface new advertising opportunities in products that generate sales but aren’t yet promoted.

The attributed purchases report has 2 time units available: summary or daily. The lookback window for this report is 5 years.
