How to optimize your advertised products to help increase the chance of your product being clicked on.

When grouping products in an ad group, select products that:

  • Share the same category
  • Have related functionalities
  • Fall within similar price ranges

This structure helps to easily track campaign performance in Campaign Manager.

Product optimization

In campaign manager, you can see tailored listing improvement recommendations for products in both your active and inactive Sponsored Products campaigns.

Follow the tips below to optimize your advertised products and increase the chance of your products being clicked on.

Product title

  • Create informative, scannable titles of approximately 60 characters.
  • Include key product details that help customers make quick decisions.

Visual Elements

  • Include 4+ high-quality images in your ad (minimum 1,000 pixels in height/width).
  • Enable zoom functionality to showcase product details.
  • Use multiple angles to highlight key features.

Product Information

  • Add 3+ focused bullet points covering:
    • Key features
    • Contents
    • Dimensions
    • Usage instructions
    • Age ratings
    • Country of origin
  • Write detailed product descriptions that explain the benefits and value proposition.
  • Include search terms relevant to your product for improved discoverability.

Pricing and Availability

  • Maintain competitive pricing.
  • Make sure that your products are in stock.
  • Choose products that display the featured offer.

Enhance your product detail page with A+ content

Available to vendors and as sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, A+ content lets you describe your product features using enhanced images, text placements and stories.

Show the Prime badge

Advertise products that offer Prime Shipping. This lets customers know they can get their product quickly, with no additional shipping costs. You can get the Prime badge by enrolling your eligible products in Fulfilment by Amazon.

Advertise products with positive reviews

Try to advertise products with five or more customer reviews, plus a rating of 3.5 stars or higher, to help improve your engagement opportunities.
